Safety and liability notice

Post Objects candles are designed to melt, slump and change shape as they burn. Wax flow is unpredictable and will travel beyond the base of the candle. By buying and burning a Post Objects candle, you accept responsibility for how and where you burn it.

Safe use

• Always burn on a large, non-flammable, heat-resistant surface.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets, curtains, furniture, drafts and anything flammable.
• Keep burns short, and trim the wick before each burn.
• Do not move a candle while it is lit or while the wax is still liquid. Hot wax can cause burns.
• Stop burning before the flame reaches the base or surface.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Post Objects Limited is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or cost arising from the use or misuse of our products, including any failure to follow our safety and care instructions. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the price paid for that product.

Business purchases

If you are buying for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to your purchase.

Your rights

Nothing in this notice limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other law that cannot be excluded.
