Post Objects is the studio of sculptor Liz Wycherley in Titirangi, New Zealand. Each form begins with an experimental physical process where the unpredictable is encouraged. They are cast by hand in wax, and released in small editions. Lighting one sets the material back in motion.
Something in me is utterly compelled by the squish of a balloon, the ripped edge of clay I've sliced with a knife, the charred edge of wood I've set alight. I’m interested in any process where the material can take its own path and I’m more of an observer.

Not like a normal candle. Some burn chaotically, and that’s part of the excitement: the wax slumps, pools and travels past its base. Give it a large, heat-resistant surface and never leave it unattended. Candle care
