The flow candle series is the study of molten wax in motion.  The flow candles are formed by simmulating the pouring of wax from a height, over various forms and with a variety of gestural movements. Each combination of movement and oppposing shapes results in a uniquely flowed design, the process of creating is expressed in the form. These elemental forces are at play through the natural formations of the earth. Lava flows, stalagmite, stalactites, and other mineral deposits all form this way over the long passage of time.
